Personal Statement
I am a mature outgoing individual, with excellent organisational and creative skills. I am hard
working, tenacious and adaptable. I have recently returned to live in the UK after many years in
Toronto, Canada, interspersed with travelling in Europe, six months of which were spent caring for
an eighteen years old girl, who was severley retarded, epileptic and had severe neurological
probalems. I am now looking for a long-term position that will employ my skills, creatvity and
imagination to their utmost.
Work Experience
Most of my career has been spent in the corporate sector, working for financial institutions in
administration. I am also experienced in recruitment & marketing, and worked as a PA for many
years. I worked in the voluntary sector for eight years, organising chamber music concerts for
senior citizens, and prisoners, and jointly established a theatre company in Toronto, working as
associate producer and actor.
Industry Sectors
Banking & financial, recruitment, the arts, training, the voluntary sector.
Notable Achievements
Organised concerts for pensioners in care homes, and prisoners, using members of the Toronto
Symphony Orchestra. Built up a series of summer concerts which became a fixture in the calendar of
the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto.
Qualifications
5 O'levels, 1 A'level (Art History). Graduate of the Coventry School of Drama (Grade 8).
