Personal Statement
I am a physically and mentally robust ex soldier, i am also confident and can turn my hand to mostly
anything.
I spent 8 years in the army working as a port operator and
my duties
included driving and servicing plant machinery, loading and unloading ships and trains, cargo
movements and securing said cargo.
I have been out of the army for over a year now and i am
looking forward to a new challenge in my life.
I enjoy travelling and have been fortunate to
have done a great deal in the army.
ideally i am loooking for work overseas but should the
right oppurtunity arise i would stay in the uk.
Work Experience
1 years experience in a frozen food production company.
8 years spent as a port operator in
the british army.
some experience of labouring on sites.
casual work as an event
supervisor for the RFU at twickenham stadium.
currently employed in a factory role as a
machine operator.
Industry Sectors
construction, port environment, security, factory.
Notable Achievements
climbed mount kenya in 2005.
Several parachute jumps.
completed numerous half
marathons.
been on several operational tours with the army, including Iraq, Bosnia, Sierra
Leone and Falklands.
Lots of other stuff of note.
Qualifications
9 gcses low passes
nvqs in I.T, nuneracy and literacy, road haulage and distribution./>
food handling safety certificate.
basic and intermediate sea survival.
